Increasing Participation Is Our Common Priority… For a Vibrant Future.

As part of on-going initiatives for growth and sustainability in North America, Austin Powder Limited is committed to forming lasting partnerships for mutual business development with First Nations communities. Our business development model increases participation and helps to secure a long term position for growth of the explosives sector in the North.

We understand the importance of relations with First Nations to launch new businesses, to strengthen internal employment and training models, and have negotiated within Impact Benefit or Resource Development Agreements (IBA/RDA) to create opportunities for First Nations businesses to assist in servicing industries with skilled labour. We build relationships with local First Nations businesses to identify common priorities, as a means of increasing participation. We are also a company built on safety, and we conduct the training of local area workers in the same manner as those who work for our parent company We also believe in fair returns within this mutual proposition.
